Luke has been a broadcaster since 2000.  For three years he was dedicated 100% to sports broadcasting with an international sports program through CVC International with audiences in India, Africa, and China through shortwave and further with web streaming. Luke also spent some time writing features stories for Soccer International Magazine focussed on the Australian A-League football competition. Currently he is the breakfast host and Program Director at LightFM in sports crazy Melbourne, Australia.

Favourite three sports: Cricket (indoor and outdoor), Football, (Soccer, AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Futsal, Foosball) and Lawn Bowls (indoor, outdoor, and even the carpet variety- yes I was seen screaming support for the Aussie Lawn bowlers during the Commonwealth Games)

Best sporting moment witnessed:  It’s between Andrew Symond’s maiden test century in the Boxing Day Test Match (he hit Collingwood down the ground for a six to reach the mark under such immense pressure to keep his spot and when his team was in trouble - he came through showing great character) and Darren Lockyer scoring the winning try in the third and final State of Origin clash played at the Telstra Dome in 2006.  What a come back and what Queensland spirit!

Best sporting event attended:  Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. Not because of anything sporty but the pre-ceremony entertainment for the closing ceremony led by a group called the Scared Weird Little Guys and they got the 90,000 strong crowd to do a camera flash Mexican wave.  Instead of people jumping up with their hands in the air they took a photo and this did a lap around the stadium.  It was the coolest thing to see these flashes going off. Go here to have a look.

Sporting star of 2009?  Besides myself I will have to say that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to be in the hunt even though he isn’t a player. Manchester United are still in the hunt for some record breaking titles this year and it will be a brave person to bank against them picking up a moving truck worth of silverware.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
