Fearnley wins London Marathon
26 April:  Kurt Fearnley has won the London Marathon wheelchair race after sprinting clear to win over the final metres.  The Australian Paralympic champion held off last year's winner, Great Britain's David Weir to win a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes, 57 seconds.  South African Ernst van Dyk finished third.  In the women's race Amanda McGrory from the USA also beat the defending champion, Sandra Graf.
