| Records fall at Paralympic World Cup |
25 May: Nine world records were set at the 5th Paralympic World Cup in Manchester. The six-day event attracted over 400 athletes from 31 countries to compete in four sporting disciplines from 20-25 May. In the pool Great Britain's 14-year-old double Paralympic champion Eleanor Simmonds set a new record in the S6 100m freestyle, smashing the previous best by 1.3 seconds while South African Kevin Paul also set a new time in the MD 100m breaststroke. Sprinter Oscar Pistorius (in picture) won both the T44 100m and 400m.
