Pistorius falls short for Berlin
pistorius_wins_400m_pwc19 July:  Paralympic gold medallist Oscar Pistorius is still hoping to qualify for the 400m at the World Athletics Champions despite missing the qualifying mark at last week's meeting in Lucerne.  His time of 47.07 was well below the qualifying time of 45.95 despite being a season's best.  The double amputee is targetting the 2012 Olympics in London and may now try for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
