Oscar Pistorius recovering after boating accident
disabilitysportOscar Pistorius is recovering after a boating accident near Johannesburg.  The 22-year-old South African double amputee won three gold medals at the Paralympic Games in Beijing last September.  He sustained head and facial injuries when boating with a friend on the Vaal River at the end of February.  The injuries are not deemed to be serious and he is expecting to compete in the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester in May.
