Champions League finalists determined
football07 May:  Manchester United and Barcelona will contest the UEFA Champions League final in Rome on 27th May.  On Tuesday United overwhelmed Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium to win their semi-final 4-1 on aggregate.  Ji-Sung Park slotted in after eight minutes and three minutes later the tie was effectively over when Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first of his two goals with a free kick from 40-yards.  Barcelona progressed thanks to an Andres Iniesta wonderstrike deep into stoppage time to level 1-1 with Chelsea and go through on the away goals rule.  Michael Essien gave Chelsea a first-half lead but the Blues were unable to add further goals and were left to ponder several apparently good penalty appeals that were turned away by the Norweigian referee.
