Ronaldo finally joins Real Madrid
football06 July:  Cristiano Ronaldo was introduced to 80,000 passionate Real Madrid fans on Monday after completing his £80m move from Manchester United.  The European Footballer of the Year joins midfielder Kaka at the club, following the Brazilian's earlier move from AC Milan.  Expectation is huge at the Bernabeu that after several years in the doldrums the new signings will enable the club to challenge great rivals Barcelona, who last season completed the treble of the La Liga title, Copa del Rey and Champions League.
