On 9th January, the Togo football team on its way to the Africa Cup On 12th February the XXI Winter Olympic Games begin in Vancouver. Over 5,000 athletes from more than 80 countries will be taking part over 17 days of competition. One of the 15 events is the skeleton, a sport in which athletes lie on a sled and hurtle head-first down a frozen track at speeds of up to 130 kilometres per hour. We talk to Adam Pengilly, a member of the Great Britain skeleton team in Vancouver about his career and hopes for the Games. Download the show or listen online:

of Nations in Angola was attacked by gunmen in the northern province of Cabinda. Two members of the delegation, assistant coach Abalo Amelete and media spokesman Stanislas Ocloo were killed. Sam Elitsa (right) is Technical Director to the Togo Football Federation and he was with the team on the bus when it was attacked. He spoke to our football correspondent Stuart Weir about the events of that day and how he feared his life was about to end.
