Cricket in Zimbabwe has been through hard times in the past six years with the country coming very close to losing its Test status.  After a time of voluntary exile from the Test arena Zimbabwe will play its first Test in four years against Bangladesh in May 2011.

This weekend a nine-day domestic Twenty20 competition begins featuring some of thesteve_vickers_cropped_57x70 world's top stars including Brian Lara, Jason Gillespie and Ryan Sidebottom playing alongside Zimbabwe's finest young players.  Steve Vickers (right) reports on the current state of cricket in Zimbabwe and looks forward to the Twenty20 competition with former South African all-rounder, Lance Klusener and Dave Houghton, former Zimbabwe captain and coach of on eof the five domestic teams.

lucio_610x500Brazilian football star Lucio (left) has played over 90 times for his country.  He helped Brazil win the 1992 World Cup and earlier this year was part of the Inter Milan side that won the UEFA Champions League.  The 32-year-old central defender talks to us about playing his first game for his country, the role of captaincy and winning the 2009 Confederations Cup.

lads - top show. Really enjoyed it and your other shows too. I listen from Mount Gambier South Australia on my local Christian station - Lime FM 104.9
Really love hearing the stories and about sports and people that I don't know much about. Would love to hear a story on chaplains in sport. I think some cricket teams have them. Anyway, keep up the good work on a very enjoyable show.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
